This could be the lowest mileage example with these options around!

The 1972 Buick Riviera represents the third generation run of the car Buick built as a personal luxury car - it was GM’s first step into the prestige niche. From the start, the model was a popular one amongst enthusiasts and automotive journalists. At that time, it was heavily into production, and somewhat of a popular model to see around.

For the third generation, the automaker gave the Riviera a pretty bold redesign - it was now sporting the boat-tail design and a fastback rear window that came from the inspiration of the 1963 Corvette. The car also go wider and bigger overall during the redesign. A big advance in performance came from the Max Trac limited limited-slip differential that was added to the model. Powering the 1972 Riviera is a massive 455 cubic inch engine that’s rated at 225-horsepower.

This particular example from Raleigh Classic is rarely optioned and a highly sought after configuration. The car is in excellent original condition, and there’s only 25,270 miles on the clock, which are fully documented - this car would make an excellent show car, or driver’s car since it has so much life left in it. The fully optioned 1972 Riviera has an original title date of 1972 and hand written Bill of Sale.

The car is still rolling on its original white wall tires it was given at the factory, and everything else about it looks the same as it did when it left the dealer showroom almost five decades ago. The mileage puts it as being driven only 531 miles per year, and has been owned by the same person all this time. It could possibly be the lowest mileage model with these many options.
