Ford first debuted its top-of-the-line Crown Victoria back in 1955. The dazzling new addition to its lineup included a bright chrome “Tiara” that accompanied the nameplate. It’s safe to say that it was an instant success and became one of the most iconic Ford designs of all time.

This model features a vibrant factory Torch Red and Snowshoe white exterior with matching interior and exterior accents throughout. Privately owned for over 40 years, this Fairlane Crown Victoria is in immaculate condition. The paint job appears to be in excellent condition and is complemented by the fender skirts and new wide Whitewall tires. This model sports a dual exhaust with dual mirrors, a dual antenna, and rare original rear-view mirror. It’s also equipped with the Continental kit spare tire holder.

Under the hood, you’ll find the original 272 cubic-inch V8 engine mated to a Ford-o-Matic automatic transmission. It is equipped with a 12-volt conversion kit, along with factory power steering and rare factory power brakes. Don’t worry about purchasing this during the summer months, because this classic comes with functional air conditioning and factory tinted glass for added comfort. It also includes a factory AM radio with an additional FM stereo that was installed. What’s more, the cabin even has its own Ford tissue dispenser.

This Fairlane Crown Victoria accurately represents the high point of American styling in the 1950s. Coveted and often sought after by collectors, this is a wonderful piece of history that would make a valuable addition to your home or shop. It has been in private hands for more than four decades, and now it can be yours!
