The icing on the cake may be its breathtaking Plum Crazy exterior paint, which is one of the most sought-after colors on a Chrysler. It’s in immaculate condition and is truly an “investment grade” muscle car that will see its value only increase through the years. The car photographs beautifully at every angle thanks to a well-kept exterior and clean black interior. Everything inside the cabin is original, except for the carpets.

This fully-documented 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda received a no-expense-spared rotisserie restoration. The entire restoration process was documented and captured in photographs. The previous owners were contacted to recount the vehicle, and the restorers verified exactly what was done to the Plymouth during the process and how they did it.

This purple wonder has just 12 miles to the odometer after the restoration! It’s powered by a 440 cubic-inch “Six-Pack” Tri-Power V8 engine mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission that delivers 360 horsepower. The options list includes power brakes, dual exhaust with bright tips, bucket seats, painted race mirrors, hood tie-down pins, woodgrain console, AM radio, body belt, and sill moldings, and a Carb Fresh Air “Shaker” package.

This vehicle was manufactured at the Hamtramck, Michigan assembly plant, and was produced on production line 1. The actual name for the exterior color is In-Violet Metallic (for Plymouths), as Plum Crazy was strictly for Dodge. Even so, it’s an unmistakable color and a head-turner for sure.
