Immaculate 1977 Pontiac Trans Am SE Treats A Legend Properly

Almost flawlessly preserved, the Starlight Black paint polishes up to a nice mirror-like shine. Gold striping, including the famous emblem on the hood, make for a slick presentation. Among the exciting details is a nice decklid spoiler and dual chrome splitter exhaust extensions, really putting of an aggressive yet stylish vibe. Gold accented snowflake wheels, which are original equipment, keep the exterior looking smart.

Similarly well-preserved, the interior sports original elements like a gold-accented steering wheel, dark gray upholstery, OE stereo, and shiny instrument panel surround. The dash doesn’t show signs of sun damage, but apparently this car was stored inside, so that explains why everything looks so incredibly good.

You also get the fun of a Borg Warner 4-speed manual transmission paired up with a Ram Air 400 that was also used in the GTO. Everything apparently works, so you get a smooth car for taking out on the open road.

While other American brands scaled back or even eliminated muscle car offerings in the late 1970s, Pontiac forged ahead with bold designs.
