A red-hot beauty with the power to boot.

SuperSport Classics of Clearwater, Florida is excited to announce this 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS for sale. The car has just 20,205 original miles on the dash, and the current asking price is set at $43,999. The stunning Cranberry Red exterior paint continues well into the red interior for an overall striking appearance that is hard to ignore.

This Chevelle SS is in excellent condition and will be a valuable addition to anyone’s garage. It has always been stored in a climate-controlled facility and rarely driven. That being said, it’s been well maintained to a pristine state and comes with a complete numbers-matching drivetrain and build sheet.

In essence, the Chevelle Super Sport (SS) represented Chevy’s entry into the muscle car battle of yesteryear. This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS two-door sports coupe is powered by a 396 cubic-inch (which was actually a 402) big-block V8 engine mated to a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. Just look at that incredible engine bay! That powerhouse combination produces 350 horsepower at 5,200 rpms and 415 pound-feet of torque at 3,400 rpms. The car features the correct 12-bolt rear end, its original carburetor, heat shield, and exhaust! It fires up right away and runs as it should. The F41 suspension provides for an all-around sporty and comfortable ride.

This example is still wearing its original Cranberry Red paint job that carries over into the cabin’s red bucket seats. The interior is in great condition without any unusual wear and tear. It is clear to see that this Chevelle was babied and barely driven. But that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t want to be driven. Muscle cars like these deserve to be well taken care of just as much as they should be enjoyed. If you'd like a walkaround view of the car, just have a look at the video clip below.

These classic Chevelles are getting harder to come by and they are skyrocketing in value. This particular example has been very well preserved, as made evident by the photos. That being said, the photos just don’t do this stunner justice. Don’t miss your chance to add this gorgeous Chevelle SS to your collection.
