Considering its size, this minuscule roadster is aptly named.

For about 20 years, Austin-Healey existed as an exclusively sports car-oriented auto manufacturer. The company existed as part of a merger between the British Motor Company (Austin) and the Donald Healey Motor Company (Healey). From 1958 until 1971, the company produced the Sprite roadster, with this 1965 Austin-Healey Sprite being created nearly in the middle of the model’s production run.

Classic Auto Mall in Morgantown, Pennsylvania offers this British roadster for sale. The seller notes the vehicle has thoroughly received attention during its lifetime, with areas such as the interior and engine receiving restorations at one point.

While the seller does not specify if the exterior of this Sprite was ever restored, it is in mostly good shape, though the finish has some patina. Unfortunately, the convertible top does not go up, and the seller did not try to force it into position. Additionally, the undercarriage of the vehicle has no invasive rust, but seller notes that they think the rockers were once replaced.

The cockpit of this Sprite features a red and white theme throughout, with restored vinyl, clean carpets, and chromed window cranks. There’s also a woodgrain steering wheel present, which features the factory horn button, as well as a red vinyl dash cover. Last but not least, a look at the 5-digit odometer reveals 79,954 miles, which likely could be a true figure for this Sprite.

Under the hood, you’ll find a 1.1-liter 4-cylinder engine, which utilizes a Stromberg dual carburetor setup. The pint-sized powerplant pairs to a 4-speed manual transmission to drive the rear wheels. The engine bay also features the factory blower fan for improved cooling, as well as the carburetor cleaners.
