They say if you love something, let it go; and if it comes back, it was meant to be. Something along those lines has happened with this 1963 Ford Galaxie Coupe. Sunnyside Chevrolet of Elyria, Ohio in conjunction with Greg's Sports, Classic, & Muscle is proud to offer up this beauty for sale, yet again. The dealer has had this car in its inventory before and sold it to a very good customer from Buffalo, New York. That couple, however, is moving and won’t have room for the car, so they called Sunnyside to see if it would like the car back. Well, the dealership took the opportunity as a chance to find a new owner for this Galaxie Coupe and here it is.

This 1963 Ford Galaxie Coupe is finished in a beautiful and tag-correct Raven Black paint that is quite ravishing. The pictures do a good job at illustrating the condition of this great muscle car. The teardrop fiberglass hood is really cool and gives this Galaxie that dragstrip look. Sunnyside also has a painted-to-match steel hood for those who would prefer that. Everything from the exterior and interior, to the trunk, engine bay and undercarriage are very clean. It is clear to see that the previous owners really took care of the car and gave it the TLC it deserves. Not only does this car look amazing, but it is a pure joy to ride as well.

Under the hood, you will find a very potent early Ford 289 engine topped with a Holley Street Dominator Intake and Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. The 289 motor was, at that time, the largest of the small-block series that was first used in the 1962 Fairlane. This V8 runs strong through a Tremec four-speed manual transmission that shifts with no issue. Sunnyside examined the entire car at its shop and found that it is in very good condition. They concluded that the only thing missing from the headers was a set of electric cutouts, so they added it. The result is an off-the-chart growl and rumble that can excite even non-enthusiasts.

This car has its whole life ahead of it and many more smiles per gallon to offer. Whether you just want to drive, it, show it off, or keep it garaged, the choice is ultimately yours to make. The 1963 Ford Galaxie Coupe you see here came back for a reason, and that reason can be you.
