Fully restored, and Chevy 350 powered, this classic SUV begs to be driven.

I’m a huge fan of Chevrolet’s K5 Blazer, but clean examples are becoming harder and harder to find. Luckily, this 1971 Chevy K5 Blazer received a nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration, making it one of the cleanest examples of a K5 on the market.

Dirt Road USA of Laguna Hills, California offers this Blazer for sale. The specialty shop mainly deals in on off-road vehicles, but K5 Blazers are its specialty, which absolutely makes this Chevy even more enticing of a deal.

As stated earlier, this truck received a thorough restoration, and it shows. The “Medium Blue” exterior paint color is bright and the paintwork was professionally done, while all of the body panels and gaps are flawless. The white top and exterior chrome are new, and the top features new hardware, which is very hard to find. Last but not least, even the undercarriage received attention, with a black paint finish that replicates how this Chevy left the factory.

The lovely blue theme continues to the interior, where the seller mentions that things are in concours quality condition. After looking through the photos, I’m inclined to agree – the blue vinyl seats and carpet are nearly flawless, as is the center console. Additionally, this K5 features the factory radio system, and a handful of other convenience features, such as power disc brakes, locking front wheel hubs, power steering, and a rear seat.

Under the hood, you’ll find a 350 cubic-inch V8 engine, which was the largest powerplant offered on the first-generation K5. The engine pairs to an automatic transmission and a 4-wheel-drive system, with the seller noting that the truck runs and drives as if it is new.

This K5 is practically new, and when considering that the modern-day Blazer is a unibody crossover, it makes this restored 4x4 even sweeter. Could you see yourself driving around in this blue Blazer?
