Enjoy an old-school family adventure in this rare three-row woody!

Back before SUVs and minivans took over the roadways, family road trips took place in beautiful wagons like this 1951 Ford Country Squire. And while you'd think that three-row vehicles is a modern phenomenon, Fast Lane Classic Cars is selling this Country Squire with the rare three-seat option for $77,500.

The 1951 model year was the last year that Ford used real wood for its woodies, and this car had its wood panels redone by Rick Mack Woodwork in California. Adding a little provenance to this particular Country Squire, it was previously owned by the president of the South California Woody Club! Accenting that gorgeous, authentic wood is the car's original Culver Blue color. The combination of this blue hue and the two-tone wood looks absolutely amazing. All the chrome and trim are new, and the chrome hub caps and white wall tires add a great visual presence.

Inside this 1951 Ford Country Squire, you'll find three rows of low-back seats with a pretty cool pattern on the seat backs and bottoms,  and there is also plenty of wood trim across the dash and along the inner body panels. Despite being a two-door, it looks pretty easy to access the rear seats with a folding passenger seat back and a sizeable pass through next to the second-row  bench. For even more space, the middle-row seat folds out of the way.

Under the hood, this iconic woody is powered by a fitting powertrain: a Ford 239 CID flat-head engine paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Looking at everything this car has to offer, it isn't hard to see why it's a proven show winner, and showing this Country Squire off should be just as fun as driving it!
