It’s the last Ferrari you can use a stick to row through the gears.

If you want a new Ferrari with a manual transmission, unfortunately such a thing doesn’t exist. Before you give up all hope, you do have a shot at this 2008 Ferrari F430 Spider, the last of the Italian automaker’s gated manuals. Another notable thing about this F430 is it’s the last Ferrari to use a naturally-aspirated mid-engine configuration. Augmenting that raw power is the electronic differential born out of Formula One racing.

That silky red exterior hasn’t had paintwork done, a testament to how well cared-for this Ferrari has been. In fact, you’ll be hard-pressed to find anything wrong with the exterior trim, wheels, and black convertible top. Brand new Michelin tires present and grip exceptionally well. The same thing goes for that Tan interior with Red stitching. Of course, with under 9,000 miles on the odometer, the immaculate condition of this car really should be no surprise.

This F430 Spider has been fully optioned, so you’re getting all the cool bells and whistles. In addition to all that, the lucky new owner gets all the books, tools, and even the factory cover for this fine machine. The original window sticker is also included.

Ferrari made the F430 for the 2005 to 2009 model years, replacing the highly successful Ferrari 360. It introduced a number of modern innovations, but of course the ability to use a gated manual was retained. Now that this isn’t a possibility with modern Ferraris, this F430 becomes that much more desirable to those who want a manual transmission. It’s estimated only about 50 2008 Ferrari F430 Spiders came with the gated manual, making them quite rare indeed. For that and other reasons, this car should continue to appreciate in value.
