Classic GT40 looks with a high-powered modern Ford powertrain.

Superformance – the creator of stunning GT40, Shelby Cobra, Corvette Grand Sport and Shelby Daytona replicas and continuation cars – wowed the 2018 SEMA Show with the introduction of its Future GT Forty line. This car took the timeless beauty of a Ford GT40 replica and combined it with modern powertrain components from Ford, and now one of these cars can be yours thanks to Hillbank Motor Corporation.

While the Future GT Forty revealed at the 2018 SEMA Show rocked a 647-horsepower, 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V-6 from the current Ford GT, this car up for sale (chassis P2369) rocks a Ford 5.0-liter Coyote V-8 topped with a Roush supercharger that is good for 650 horsepower. This car was the first Future GT Forty to be built with a V-8 and was also the first with a wide body kit. Like the show car, it is painted in the same red, white and blue livery as the No. 68 Ford GT that won the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans.

More than just a show car, Superformance developed the Future GT Forty by adding modern features to its MkI GT40. This includes the aero package consisting of a front splitter, dual canards (the front winglets ahead of the front wheel opening) and a detachable rear wing all created from carbon fiber. For maximum handling, this car is also fitted with Wilwood six-piston brakes, HRE center lock wheels (18 inches front, 19 inches rear) and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. The wide body kit provides enough space for massive 345-series rear tires, which offers over a foot of contract tread to lay down some serious rubber!

Hillbank, a certified dealer of Superformance, currently has this Future GT Forty listed for $250,000, but you can also make an offer on eBay.
