Packing plenty of power and the good looks to boot.

Skyway Classics is pleased to offer up this award-winning Rodster Street Rod conversion for your consideration. This kit car uses a modern 1985 GMC as the starting point for the build. This 1985 GMC Henry Caroselli Rodster Street Rod was fun to build, is easy to keep running, and is an overall really cool vehicle to own. After all, when was the last time you saw something like this? Drive up to your local car show and watch the heads turn and crowds huddle around. Be prepared to be immersed in several gas station conversations when you go fuel up, as well. With such a rad rod, it’s a given. The current asking price on this vehicle is set at $19,997, and you can make an offer on it right here.

This lightweight Rodster is powered by a Chevrolet 350 cubic-inch V8 engine that packs plenty of satisfying power through its headers and throaty mufflers, all the way back to the 10-bolt rear end. The kit lowers the ride height of the GMC by three inches, to keep it consistent with the street rod look, with lowering shocks and Futura Super Sport tires wrapped around body-color painted wheels highlighted by the chrome shallow moon hubcaps. This vehicle also has all the power options you would expect on the original 1985 GMC.

The exterior of or Rodster consists primarily of a one-piece front clip, rear clip, rocker panels, quarter-panels, and trunk lid. The front clip is a flip-forward piece, which allows for greater access to the engine. It is also fast and easy to remove for when additional space in the engine compartment is needed. All of these parts are painted in a stunning blue paint with white and orange flames. It’s an eye-catching color scheme; there’s no doubt about it. The colors hug every curve of this Street Rod with ultimate grace. This 1985 GMC Henry Caroselli Rodster is also wearing a 1940 Ford reproduction grille and nose peak.

The interior is mostly stock, but beautiful nonetheless. It sports blue vinyl bucket seats and cloth inserts, a standard dash and instrument panel, grey carpeting with blue piping, and stock door panels.
