Packing a nice 440ci V8, this big car can get moving in a hurry. An automatic transmission with a column shifter makes using the Chrysler simple for anyone. The engine runs smooth and this car drives nicely, making it a joy to take just about anywhere.

That nice, straight green body makes a solid first impression. Chrysler did it right by not slathering the exterior with chrome, but instead using the bright stuff strategically for greater effect. Light pinstriping down both sides adds a subtle yet impactful touch. This car even comes with the factory wheels and thin whitewall tires.

This car is of course luxurious on the inside, so you’re going to be pampered as you cruise anywhere in town or out on the open road. The original leather upholstery is in fantastic condition, providing a supple and supportive place to rest your tired body. What’s more, there’s artistic script embossed on the seatbacks, something you would expect in a high-end vehicle.

You’ll find all the original controls and gauges in good order. Factory air conditioning blows cold, so taking a trip in the heat of the summer won’t be a problem.

Owned by Chrysler, the Imperial model line ran from 1955 to 1983 as a luxury brand aimed at the likes of Cadillac and Lincoln. The long-wheelbase Crown was completely redesigned for 1967, shortening the car by 3 inches and making it look more like the rest of the Chrysler lineup. Unibody construction was another big change.
