While your average person will be impressed by the sparkling Teal Turquoise body, which is straight as an arrow, what’s under the skin matters even more. The 389ci 4bbl V8 sounds appropriately aggressive with a factory dual exhaust. A four-speed transmission sends this convertible forward with a fury, just like you’d expect with any performance vehicle.

Pairing well with that shiny paint is the even shinier chrome. In classic muscle car styling, the reflective stuff is kept to minimal amounts, most obviously on the bumpers, side mirrors, and a few other trim pieces. An obviously newer black convertible top adds to the exterior appearance when the weather doesn’t allow for open-top cruising. Stacked headlights and the front fascia which comes to a point in the center makes this car distinct. While the hood scoop isn’t functional, it still adds a more intimidating detail to the GTO. Dual tailpipes peak out from the passenger-side rear quarter panel, hinting at the performance aspirations of this Pontiac. Optional Rally wheels with red line tires add a non-descript utilitarian feel to this car.
