Close examination of the car reveals factory details on the body, like courtesy lights and windshield washers, optional features which aren’t common on C1 Corvettes. Other options originally installed include power windows, an AM radio, and a tri-color dashboard. The combination of the colors on this car and those factory options make it exceedingly rare, so much that’s it’s believed only 4 with this combination of features were ever made.

The exceptional factory equipment continues with a 283ci 4 barrel V8 with 245-horsepower on tap. It works with a 2-speed Power Glide automatic transmission to send power to the 3.7 rear with posi-traction. The engine, transmission, and carburetors all are correct, so you’re getting the original setup.

You can marvel at how clean this ‘Vette looks, from the gleaming chrome on the grille to the flawless seat upholstery. All work was done as part of a frame-off restoration by Vette Dreams, which is located in West Babylon, New York. Everything on this car was completed in 2018, which helps explain the freshness of it all.

While visually not much different from the 1956 model year, the 1957 Chevrolet Corvette brought about some big changes for America’s sports car, namely a larger displacement and more power from the V8. Of course, C1 Corvettes always draw a crowd and are pretty safe bets when it comes to investments.
