These German roadsters are quite the modern collectibles.

Any time an automaker produces just 555 of a single model, that car is destined to become highly sought after by collectors. That’s especially the case when it boasts amazing performance and wears the name of two European powerhouses. This combination is embodied with this beautiful 2003 BMW Z8 Alpina, which is being sold through Curated Classics.

That Black exterior sure looks great, especially with the subtle silver trim pieces and those exotic five-spoke factory alloy wheels. This BMW looks almost good enough to be sitting on the showroom floor, with only small imperfections here and there. With only 17,000 miles on the odometer it’s obvious the original owner cared for it deeply, not wanting to use the car too hard.

As the last celebration of the Z8, the BMW Z8 Alpina was created. As you know, these two automakers have combined forces, with Alpina pushing production BMWs to new heights in performance and luxury. This little roadster contains a massive 4.8-liter V8 with 375-horsepower on tap. Alpina also tuned it for more low-end torque than you could get with a regular BMW Z8. Using a ZF automatic transmission helped with quicker gear transitions, and the rest is history.

There are many aesthetic elements which are exclusive to the Alpina roadster, like those 20-inch wheels. The interior features different stitching for the upholstery, a numbered plaque, blue instrument dials, plus an extra dial to show what gear the car is in.

This roadster comes with everything you want and need. The original owner preserved the window sticker and is including a serial-number-matching coffee table book with a reproduction window sticker. A hardtop for driving in rainy weather comes with the car, which is a great thing to have. Also included in the deal are covers for the vehicle and its hardtop when not in use, plus a nice hardtop stand. The factory books and manuals in the original Alpina portfolio are also included, as well as both keys with their pouches, the valet key, factory tool kit, first aid kit, and battery charger.
