A total of nine Firebirds were discovered in Minnesota and are now up for auction.

It seems like everyday another rare car is discovered in a barn or shed under decades of dust or in an open field left to rot in the elements. Some of these cars are in pristine shape stowed away before it ever could enjoy the road, and others are worse for wear. Most common barn finds involve just one vehicle, but every once somebody stumbles across a large collection. The latter rings true here with this nine-car Pontiac Firebird collection uncovered in Minnesota where the cars have been parked for over 20 years. The good news is, the cars are up for auction at BarnFinds.com.

The person who stashed these cars away must have been a Pontiac Firebird enthusiast, to put it lightly. Among this treasure trove was four Super Duties, a Formula 500, Jim Wangers' drag car, and other highly desired models. After the discovery, the cars were transported by two car haulers over to Restore A Muscle Car, LLC in Nebraska, where they have been cleaned up and prepared for sale. Almost all of the cars have been cleaned up nicely and are ready for a new home, but one particular 1975 Pontiac Trans Am five-speed is a project that will need a full restoration to bring it back to former glory.
