This classic Ferrari will make you look good.

An oddity as a classic front-engine Ferrari, this 1971 Ferrari Daytona Spyder Conversion is even more unique. Back in 1976 Mr. Luigi Chinetti purchased this car, which was a hardtop, and had it converted to a Spyder. Being offered on consignment by Russo and Steele, you’re not likely to run across anything like this car in the near future. After all, you can look through the auction company’s extensive listing of vehicles and quickly realize this Ferrari is supremely unique.

With any investment-grade car you want a known history, and that’s exactly what you get with this Ferrari. That includes the documented conversion, which was performed in Italy by skilled craftsmen. Considering the Daytona features Pininfarina coachwork, you want that beauty preserved expertly.

The work was executed to exact specifications, so you’re getting a highly correct Ferrari instead of something chopped up by an inexperienced shop. For example, the inner fenders and floors are metal, not an alternative material. This car rides on the correct chassis and has the correct rockers, A-pillars, and rear clip reinforcement.

Overall, the condition of this Ferrari is impressive. Everyone loves red on an Italian, and the paint has a deep luster. Knock-off wire-spoke wheels, chromed tailpipes, and other details are impressive. Meanwhile, the black interior is buttoned up nicely with factory details and a smooth presentation.

Keep in mind Ferrari only made a little over 1,400 Daytonas. Out of those, a mere 122 were Spyders, hence why conversions are somewhat popular. Not all conversions have been performed nearly as well as this one, so if you want one, this is an excellent option to consider.

Whether you are looking to sell a classic, sports, muscle, or one-of-a-kind collector automobile Russo and Steele’s consignment process has been streamlined specifically for your ease. Once you have made the decision to sell your classic car, a Russo and Steele Consignment Specialist will take over from there and work with you every step of the way. You start the consignment process by simply filling out the pre-consignment form online, so a specialist can contact you and has some background on your specific car.

A car like this isn’t going to last forever. After all, it’s unique and appealing enough it will generate some serious interest. If you have questions about it or the purchase process, contact Russo and Steele directly.
