This is a professionally-modified monster.

Everyone knows Singer builds some amazing Porsche 911s, but affording one can be a little bit too much of a financial stretch. You can get a taste for the amazing performance and in-your-face design of the classic models by instead getting this 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera Singer Tribute. This is not an amateur build, which is always a concern when dealing with a tribute vehicle. Instead, this Porsche was modified by a well-known and highly-respected shop based in Danbury, Connecticut. You don’t have to worry about shortcuts taken and questionable quality on the modifications, but instead get a well-composed performance machine.

From front to back, this 911 is jam-packed with performance upgrades aimed at serious track use. You can flog this thing on your local track without worrying the brakes, tires, or suspension will give out from hard use lap after lap, so this is a most definitely an enthusiast’s dream.

In the rear is a modified 3.6-liter flat-six engine. Conservative estimates are that it’s putting out 400-horsepower, so this car shoots forward like a rocket. Instead of just being about power, the other upgrades help you keep this Porsche going straight and sticking the turns so you can do some really impressive things behind the wheel.

The list of upgrades on this car goes on an on. The fenders have been flared to accommodate wider wheels and tires, critical to putting power to the pavement and maintaining optimal handling, plus it just looks great. Among the interior upgrades is a sports steering wheel and a Sony sound system with CD player, for when you’re just cruising through town. Don’t forget there’s also a factory sunroof, which is a nice bonus.

All in all, while this car isn’t a Singer, it’s a well-composed, fun-to-drive, and beautiful tribute which will turn heads in more ways than one. Contact the shop for details on making a purchase. You can also look through the other vehicles for sale. The company offers a full line of services if you need them, including engine rebuilding, fabrication, detailing, and transport.
