Barrett-Jackson will auction nine prestigious car collections, all at No Reserve, during the 49th Annual Scottsdale Auction.

Barrett-Jackson was chosen to sell some of the most coveted car collections during the 49th Annual Scottsdale Auction, January 11-19, 2020, at WestWorld of Scottsdale. Nine collections totaling over 180 well-preserved and maintained collector vehicles will cross the block at No Reserve in Scottsdale. Among them is a 1950 Cadillac Fleetwood (Lot #1587) with only 31,000 original miles, a true time capsule that is one of 37 being auctioned from the Moray Keith Collection.

“This is one of the largest number of collections we’ve ever offered during one auction,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “Being trusted to sell these highly respected collections, all at No Reserve, speaks volumes. Each collector is a different person with different tastes and expectations, and recognizing this diversity is why Barrett-Jackson has had the opportunity to sell some of the most revered collections in the world. From an pair of beautifully restored 1970 Plymouth Superbirds in the Matt Furukawa Collection to a rare 2015 McLaren 650S Le Mans Edition (Lot #1394) in the Scott Thomas Collection, these offerings will be the stars of the show.”

The Moray Keith Collection features 34 vehicles, including a 1937 Ford Custom Drag Car (Lot #1600). Built on an NHRA-certified full chromoly 6-second chassis, the heart of this custom hot rod is a Chevrolet 540ci V8 big-block engine that runs on methanol. Also a part of the Moray Keith Collection is a restored 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS 409 (Lot #1598) and a 1964 Jaguar E-Type Roadster (Lot #1340), which has been fully restored to exacting standards with a complete restoration of all mechanicals, electrical, interior and body.

For fans of the 1980s TV series “Dukes of Hazzard,” the Lawyer Garage Collection features four re-creation vehicles, including a 1969 Dodge Charger “General Lee” (Lot #453.3), Boss Hogg’s 1975 Cadillac Eldorado (Lot #453.2), Roscoe’s 1975 Dodge Coronet Police Car (Lot #453.1) and Cooter’s 1971 Chevrolet C30 tow truck (Lot #453). Other eclectic vehicles from the collection include a 1978 ex-Marine Bell Helicopter Car (Lot #1019.2), which was deemed the number one craziest ride on Season 5 of “Jay Leno’s Garage,” and a 1972 Cadillac Custom Wagon (Lot #400.1) known as the “Pirate Surf Mobile” that was built by art car builder Richard Fletcher.

Highlighting the RPM Collection is a show-quality restored 1967 Volkswagen 21-Window Bus (Lot #1036.1). The last year for that version, this beautiful bus features an interior by the legendary West Coast Classics. Lot #721 is an unrestored right-hand-drive 1991 Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R, which is highly original with only 52,000 actual miles. Recently restored, a 1974 BMW 2002 (Lot #974) has been updated with an E30 5-speed manual transmission and has less than 1,200 miles since its restoration.

Lot #1651 is a 1980 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am from The Flying Marlin Collection and features a rebuilt engine with custom exhaust. Lot #1570 is a professionally restored 1970 Ford Bronco that was completed in late 2018, and comes with a rebuilt fuel-injected 351ci V8 Windsor engine backed by a 5-speed manual transmission. With only 10,163 actual miles, Lot #1166 is a highly optioned 2010 Ferrari California Convertible powered by a V8 engine with a 7-speed automatic transmission.

The third and final offering from The Vault Portfolio Collection, which debuted at the 2019 Northeast Auction and continued in Las Vegas, includes a 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Custom Coupe (Lot #1056.1). Created by Karl Kustoms, the goal of developing a car resembling the classic 1963 Split-Window Corvette, but retain the modern amenities and performance of a late-model Corvette. Lot 1038.2 is a 1933 Ford Custom Coupe painted in Bright Yellow and pushes relentless power out of a fuel-injected V8 LS engine.
