...and look good doing it!

It doesn't take more than one quick glance to know that some serious work and money were invested into turning this brightly clad 1970 Chevrolet Nova into one mean street machine. Beyond its bold paint scheme lies something more sinister for those looking to conquer the street and strip and look good while doing it. The good news is that this '70 Nova is up for grabs.

As mentioned above, this potent Chevy is blanketed in an attention-demanding Atomic Orange paint topped with painted metallic purple stripes, and the bumpers are painted silver to coordinate with the tone of the body paint. The large cowl hood, Plexiglas side windows, and forward-leaning stance hint that this bad Nova is ready to launch. The bold and shiny livery show off this Nova's straight bodywork and dangerous curves. Even more, all of the SS emblems have been painted orange to match along with the lettering on the big rear tires.

Sure, this car is ready to knock out the competition on the 1320, but the ProStreet segment provides aggressive street manners. Powering this beast is a fully built and race-ready 400cui V8 engine topped with Canfield aluminum heads, Holley four-barrel carburetor, and an Edelbrock hi-rise intake. Other mechanical highlights include a CSR Performance Products electric water pump, high pressure fuel pump, MSD high vibration ignition coil, MSD Pro Billet distributor, and Dynatech ceramic coated headers. Keeping temperatures in check is a Northern aluminum radiator with an electric fan. Shifting power to the pavement is a sturdy TH400 three-speed automatic transmission with a 3500 stall that moves a stout Strange Engineering 9-inch rear end. Even the undercarriage is spotless, and it features tubular A-arms up front and traction bars in the rear. A fuel cell and battery can be found in the trunk that helps add weight over the rear wheels. In addition, the car stops thanks to drilled and slotted disc brakes on all four corners, and maneuvering comes easy thanks to rack and pinion steering.

Open the doors to see how race-ready this Chevy really is with dual racing seats up front complete with RaceQuip 5-point safety harnesses. The rear seat was removed to make room to fit wide tires under the car along with a custom safety cage. Even more, the interior features a Hurst ratchet shifter, Joes Racing switch panel, large AutoMeter tachometer mounted at eye level, and a shift light on the steering column. Even the steering wheel is wrapped in a bright orange to match the exterior. Since this is also a street car, it comes equipped with an AM/FM/CD stereo complete with a USB input to plug in your phone.

This insane '70 Chevy Nova Pro Street comes with all build receipts so you know exactly what has been done and when. If this bad boy is calling your name, feel free to contact Streetside Classics today. The car is listed at $39,995, but feel free to make them an offer here.
