There were a lot of goofy contraptions added to cars in the 1950s, and this Oldsmobile might have one of the coolest. This car is equipped with Skidmaster Sander, which is said to be an extremely rare device that can electronically dump sand in front of the rear tires to add a little extra traction. And extra traction would certainly be a good thing considering Oldsmobile's 324 CID Rocket V8 is under the hood!
