We purchased this 550 Maranello in early 2018 and have spent the last year driving, showing, and servicing this fantastic car. Please inquire for a link to the service receipts, but the car spent the winter of 18/19 at Lake Forest Sportscars of Illinois being thoroughly gone-through. An inspection and road test of the car was completed, and a subsequent service was performed. In addition to a handful of other items, the timing belt was done, trans cooler lines were replaced, valve cover gaskets and cam seals were replaced, both front suspension actuators were rebuilt, both thermocouple control units were replaced, and fluids (brake, oil, trans) were flushed. The air conditioning system was rebuilt in 2018, just before we got the car. We also had the dash and rear cargo area professionally reupholstered shortly after purchasing the car, as there was some wrinkling in the leather, something these cars are notorious for. We did a bit of cosmetic touching-up as well, having resprayed the front bumper and driver's door in order to correct a handful of chips. As it sits now, this is a very clean, well-sorted, well-documented 550 Maranello that is ready to be driven and enjoyed by its next owner.

A Euro-delivery car, it was imported to the United States in August of 2000. The car then went to Colorado for one year, then California for seven, then Nevada for one. The car was then sold in 2009 to the gentleman who we bought it from, who split time between homes in Pennsylvania and Florida.

Exterior:
- Please see the video along with the listing. The car presents extremely well. Nurburgring Silver is a great color on these cars, and there is very, very little as far as cosmetic blemishes. There are a few tiny little chips just below the headlights and on the underside of the side mirrors, but nothing that is by any means glaring or eye-catching. No dings, scratches, or scuffs.
- Stock 18” wheels are in good shape, with only minor signs of age. A handful of chips; condition is consistent with 37k miles of road use. Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport tires (255 and 295) were new in 2017 and have just about a thousand miles on them since.
- Glass is all clear, crack-free, and believed original.
- Weatherstripping is in good shape throughout.

Interior:
- Dash was reupholstered in late 2018 and looks great. The leather under the rear glass was all done as well.
- Seats are in nice shape, with no scuffs, burst seams, or significant wear. Just slight wear on the outer bolsters, as seen in the photos. These seats are extremely comfortable and supportive. Makes the cabin a very pleasant place to be.
- Gauges are all functional, including the odometer, which reads in kilometers. 60k km, or 37k miles, is accurate based on service records, known history, and observable wear.
- Air conditioning blows cold, and the AC system was rebuilt just last year. All interior lights and signals are functional, as are the dash switches (pop trunk, fuel door, traction control off, defrost). Heat, fan, and AM/FM/Cassette/CD radio are functional as well.
- Signs of wear in the interior: Light scratches on door panels and around window control, primarily the driver's side, likely from a watch or rings. Scratches in the plastic around the ignition, presumably from other keys being on a previous owner's keychain. Waviness of plastic face of climate control unit (see photo). Dash switches show a bit of age – not sticky and gross like they're known to get, but the squared-off surround piece has a few hairline cracks. Carpeting behind the front seats is discolored, particularly on the passenger's side (not immediately visible unless seats are folded down). Carpet is fine on the flat area under the rear glass, but that lower surface behind the seats is discolored. Looks worse in photos than in person, but it's definitely there and worth noting.

Under the Hood / Underbody:
- Please inquire for scanned service receipts. We will email that over. The car has undergone $30k worth of services over the course of the last five years and is now ironed-out and ready to enjoy. While belts were done in late 2016, we opted to have them done again in preparation for the sale while the car was at Lake Forest Sportscars earlier this year. This car has absolutely no on-road tendencies or noises of concern; truly very well-sorted. Wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere.
- Underbody is in great shape. Photos are in the listing, but there is no damage, active leaks, or rust of any kind. Despite being a European delivery example, the car does now have catalytic converters.
