This 2006 Ford Mustang Saleen S281 Extreme is one of those rare and exciting vehicles that are becoming future collectibles. This Ford has Low miles at just over 13000. In overall excellent condition, this special Saleen has been very well maintained and cared for. Comes with the original window sticker from Saleen and a letter from Saleen stating the pedigree. The window sticker shows the long list of upgrades added to this Mustang like for example the Saleen series 6 supercharger, Saleen forged internals, ported cylinder heads, Saleen 2 1/2" exhaust, Saleen max grip differencial with 4:10 gears, Saleen heat extracker hood, Saleen carbon fiber front and rear diffusers, race craft suspension, Saleen leather sport bucket seats, louvered head rests, Saleen custom floor mats, and the list goes on. Beyond the long list of Saleen upgrades, the Mustang is loaded with factory options like air conditioning, power windows, power locks, power seats, cruise control, and Shaker 500 stereo. The letter from Saleen states that this is production number 06-0062 Saleen Extreme Mustang, and is 1 or 35 with these exact colors and options. One more nice touch is that the letter is signed by Steve Saleen himself. This Mustang is powered by the 4.6 Liter V8 with Saleen supercharger, and backed by a 6 speed manual transmission. Addition to the performane upgrades added by Saleen, this Mustang Extreme had a few more upgrades added including ported intake manifold, Ford racing 60lb injectors, larger front mount intercooler, JLT cold air intake, and a 2 3/4" super charger pully. The black exterior with polished chrome Saleen wheels and cosmetic upgrades, makes this car stand out in the crowd. The black leather interior is also something of exception to look at.
