Make Offer Questions? No shortage of eyeball here, GR Auto Gallery is thrilled to bring to market this impressive 1977 International Scout 4X4. At the core of this restoration is a rock-solid Nevada example that was sold out of the International Harvester Company of E. Reno NV. The truck was originally used as a demo for IHC and was sold to its first owner on November 26 1976 after being used for 10,250 miles.
Today, this Scout is just off of a fresh restoration finished in Sublime Green with Rally decals over charcoal interior. This Scout is powered by its original 345 V8, automatic transmission and IHC's bullet proof 4-wheel drive system. Highlights include: Power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, original tilt steering column, new interior upholstery, bucket seats with console, rear bench seat, roll cage, brand new Best Top soft top, custom front and rear bumpers, etc.
Other features include: New Rough Country 4 inch lift with new springs, all new body mounts, all new brake lines, new wheel cylinders, new master cylinder and booster, new calipers; the transmission was completely rebuilt with new torque converter, new aluminum radiator, new carb, new battery and new Ion 16 inch aluminum wheels with new tires.
Under the hood the fire wall, under hood, core support and inner fenders have all been left original and untouched to reveal the structural integrity that this Scout possesses, and it still retains original factory markings under the hood and on the firewall.
Mechanically, this is spot and ready for immediate enjoyment. The engine runs excellent, the transmission shifts smooth, the transfer case engages as it should, suspension is tight, and brakes straight.
The vintage 4-wheel drive market remains on fire and the International Scout is one of the leaders in the market. The example here will not last long on our floor at the price offered here. Documentation includes: Original window sticker, original line ticket, original bill of sale, original warranty pamphlet and recent mechanical services.
