Wow! What a gorgeous car. Sure, there are Chevelles out there to be had. But trying to find one like this genuine LS6 is no easy task. We've looked.
Obviously, documentation and proper matching numbers are an important component to this car. We have the Protect-O-Plate, one full build sheet (and part of another), a book filled with receipts as thick as the bible, and restoration details that put it above factory new condition. This outstanding example is a numbers matching car.
Finished in Cortez Silver, the panels of original sheet metal provide a razor sharp profile while proper high glossy black stripes adorn the summit showing off the craftsmanship on the rebuild. Look at it in every angle. The glass is clean, clear, and smooth. The marker lenses are perfect. The cross-bar grill proudly produces the “SS” badge above the mirror-like chrome bumper.
Tucked under the cowl induction air intake, you'll discover a big and beautiful Holley 4-barrel carburetor that lives on a Winters intake manifold. Everything inside this engine bay is enough to make you drool. It's clean, shiny, and filled with about 450 horses. The photos speak for themselves but the craftsmanship and man hours put into this area alone make it a must see. Under the car shows the same as the exterior and engine bay. A super clean satin black covers the underneath allowing all the drivetrain and suspension components like the coils, shocks, sway bars, cross braces and even the exhaust to proudly present themselves.
Finally the interior, which is where you'll want to be, is as stunning as the exterior. Opening the door reveals ultra firm and in excellent condition black vinyl. The top-dash is free of any cracks while the dash below it displays all the proper gauges and knobs. Centered just in front of the dash is a shiny Muncie shifter which towers above clean black carpet. Strap yourself in, twist the key and be the envy of all your friends. This car will not disappoint you!
