STK 3059 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu
In 1964, Chevrolet began production of an automobile that would become a muscle car legend. The original Chevelle was constructed on a wheelbase not much larger than 'compact' cars of that era. However, this Chevy model grew quickly in dimensions and horsepower. This 1969 Chevelle Malibu hardtop model is not a muscle car in the true sense, but the look of Chevelle muscle cannot be denied. Our Malibu was the beneficiary of a full restoration in 2006. The exterior received a total re-spray of Frost Green Poly (code 59) that is in very good condition. Period correct five-spoke Cragar wheels mount Dayton SR sport radial tires and the chrome accents are in good condition. A contrasting Midnight Green vinyl top is also in very good shape as is the refreshed vinyl bucket seat interior. Upholstery, headliner, dash and carpets show only minor wear. The air conditioning system has been converted to R-134 and sounds are provided by an AM/FM stereo system. Horsepower is furnished by a 350ci/2v small-block that is said to have been totally rebuilt. A 3-speed TurboHydraumatic provides torque to a factory differential. The chassis is fitted with power steering, power-assisted drum brakes, front sway bar, Flowmaster exhaust system, NAPA battery and new fuel tank. The current owner will also provide a binder of service documentation. This Chevelle is going to make its new owner very proud. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
