Make Offer Questions?GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1947 Hudson Super Six for purchase. Hudson's were made in Detroit until 1954, when they merged with Nash-Kelvinator to create American Motors (AMC). The fourth generation of Hudson Super Six was introduced in 1940. The fourth generation Super Six was offered as a coupe, sedan, or convertible, and was powered by a 3.5L inline six engine that produced 102hp. Production of the Hudson Super Six was suspended for 1943-1945 due to WW2, yet after the war, production resumed and continued until 1951, when Hudson discontinued the model.
The Super Six offered here has recently had a bit of mechanical work done to it by the current owner. The following includes a electric fuel pump, accessory turn signals, new exhaust, new head gasket, rebuilt carburetor, new water pump, new master cylinder and brake lines. The car still remains in 6 volt set up. This is an excellent runner and a fun cruiser. It is powered by its inline 6 cylinder paired with a 3 on the tree manual transmission. Don't miss your opportunity to own this unique ride.
