This 1988 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE is a super clean and low mileage truck that has been well cared for. The last owner specifically, spent a lot of money on maintenance to make this a dependable daily driver. The body on this truck is extremely clean and straight and the paint still looks amazing. A great color combination. The colors are Olympic White and Silver Metallic. All of the original chrome is in excellent condition and the side moldings were replaced a couple of years ago so they look new. The underside is original and is really clean. We found no rust issues with this truck!!
The interior is stock and all original. It is still in beautiful condition. The headlights, tail lights, brake, lights and turn signals are all working. All of the gauges work and the heat, horn, wipers, and cruise all work. This truck has working power windows and locks. The radio is stock but not working which is very common on these trucks. The AC is complete but it is not blowing cold. This an extremely clean original interior.
Mechanically this truck is excellent and it runs and drives wonderful. The last owner spent around $4,000 in preventive maintenance and repairs and we have the receipts for the work done. The engine is the original 5.7L 350 V8 with throttle body fuel injection that runs strong and smooth with no issues or red flags that we could find. It recently had new intake gasket installed, new distributor, new alternator, and new battery. The transmission is the 700R4 automatic that shifts nice and it is mated to the np241 transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is a 10 Bolt with 3.73 gears and the front is the IFS with 3.73 gears. Other recent maintenance includes a new Master Cylinder and new front rotors and pads. This is all sitting on a nice set of factory Rallye Wheels and newer Firestone Destination tires size 245/75/16. These trucks make great everyday rigs or just use as an extra truck on the weekends.
