Although the Impala by Chevrolet had been around for a little bit by 1965, They were already in their 4th generation of the nameplate and the all new redesign for the year must have been a huge hit because the Impala seta an all-time industry annual sales record of more than 1 Million units in the United States sold. An all new body that featured curved, frameless side glass, sharper angles and a full coil suspension were some of the upgrades. This particular excellent example is a two-owner from new Impala. Was purchased out of Needham Mass from Feely Chevrolet inc. It was purchased by a couple from SW Michigan and then sold one time to our consignor in around the early 2000's. The color originally was seafoam green over blue with blue vinyl top. The color was changed before our consignor purchased it but he then had a fully body on body and paint restoration completed in 2019. I opened up the glove box and found the original window sticker, bill of sale, protect O plate, owners manuals, title application etc…..It also has the full documentation regarding the re-paint with invoices. This chevy starts, runs and drives awesome…..it even sounds better. The convertible top is in good condition with glass rear window and the power to the top works perfectly. Has a nice stereo with working lights etc…..
