1977 was the last year for this Chevrolet El Camino and GMC Sprint body design before a major downsizing for the 1978 model year. 1977 was also the last year GMC used the Sprint name before rebranding it the Caballero the following year. This great looking 1977 GMC Sprint represents the last of an era of style and substance of the El Camino and Sprint. The Sprint was always produced in small numbers, and the 1977 model year was no different. A total of 54,341 El Caminos were produced that year.
