Whether you're a GM, Mopar, or even import fan at heart, it is almost impossible to deny the allure and timeless beauty of an original 1965 Ford Mustang like the one we have for you today. And though it is marketed as a '65 model, this car happens to be an authentic 1964.5 model. Fully repainted in Raven Black, this car has also been fitted with a GT-style exhaust setup mounted traditionally through the rear valance. The racy hood pins are another noticeable feature, while the upgraded headlights will only shine through when you need them the most.
Inside, we find the sea of black continued in this Mustang, with its eye-catching Pony Interior, removable (and extremely useful) center console, new air conditioning system, as well as an upgraded sound system complete with amp and subwoofers blasting through the integrated kickpanel speakers. The lone standout is the beautiful wood-rimmed steering wheel, adding just a splash of contrast and bit more control than the original it replaces. An AFI digital screen mounted just below the floor-mounted shifter displays all of the pertinent data needed to make sure this car's modern EFI system is working efficiently.
That EFI system is in charge of the classic 289 cubic-inch engine we find under the hood. Power is sent out through a set of long tube headers before exiting the sweet-sounding FlowMaster exhaust. A C4 three-speed automatic transmission handles shifting duties, while welcomed power steering and power disc brakes all around offer up plenty of confidence through those twisty backroads.
