This 1984 Honda XR500R is said to have remained in storage for approximately ten years with its second owner before acquired it in 2021. It was subsequently recommissioned with work that included rebuilding the twin Keihin carburetors, refinishing the swingarm and exhaust system, and replacing the tires, grips, control cables, and various gaskets. Power is provided by an air-cooled 498cc four-stroke single with a Radial Four Valve Chamber (RVFC) cylinder head, and the drivetrain is completed by a five-speed transmission. Finished in red with black number plates, the bike is equipped with D.I.D alloy rims, a front disc brake, an air-assisted telescopic fork, a Pro-Link box-section aluminum swingarm, and an adjustable monoshock as well as trail lighting, a blue vinyl seat, a skid plate, and a side stand. This XR500R has a clean California off-highway title.
