A trio of hapless automotive journalists have made the Dodge Demon SRT Challenger a star. Will you be the next to take it on?

So you’ve recently watched The Grand Tour, seen Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May drive three American muscle cars through Detroit, run over some flowers, hold drag races, create a lot of noise and wondered: where can I buy one of those?

The scenes, filmed in Detroit last year and appearing in the first episode of Series 3 of the hit Amazon show, feature a 2018 Dodge Demon SRT Challenger - and thankfully Oklahoma-based Leake Auction Company has such a car in stock. We recommend it to buy, just don’t, you know, do what The Grand Tour trio did with it.

Finished in Destroyer Gray (a proper name for a color), this particular Challenger has only been driven 56 miles since it rolled off the production line last year, meaning it probably still has that new car smell. There are of course other smells that a car like this carries, and the 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V8 SRT Demon engine does no small job of making a hell of a lot of noise, as well as belching out the occasional bursts on unburnt fuel and definitely burnt tires.

Fitted to this model, VIN 2C3CDZH92JH101681, is a SRT track package that gives it an even more aggressive look and performance specification than the ‘standard’ Demon. Those ‘normal’ features include Demon logo Alcantara/leather front seats that are heated and ventilated, a black satin graphics package, a power sunroof, individual folding rear seats and an audio system that includes a Harman Kardon Greenedge amplifier with a massive 18 speakers. Just about enough to drown out the engine.

If you want to be a little more inconspicuous, and emphasis on the little, then there is a Demon-branded car cover.
