The Camaro design team killed it with this car!
When GM released the Z/28 for the fifth-generation Camaro, they were not fooling around! This car was tuned by Camaro engineers to be the ultimate track car god. With no sixth-generation option yet, and strong skepticism that there will even be a sixth-generation Z/28, this example is extremely rare. With low mileage and a clean appearance, this 2015 Camaro Z/28 from Adrenalin Motors is not going to stay on the market for long!
This track focus Z/28 comes with a massive 427 cubic inch, 7.0-liter engine and a lot of upgrades from the SS variant - this engine is the same from the C6 Corvette Z06. The 505-horsepower engine pushes its naturally aspirated power into a six-speed manual transmission, so this car is going to be one fun muscle car to drive. It inhales through a cold air intake from the factory, and exhales through a quad tip dual exhaust system.
Even though it has a behemoth of an engine, the Z/28 wasn’t built to just make power, it was built to use it. When it was launched, it was only the second car in production to use the dynamic spool-valve dampers, made by Multimatic and made famous by dominating Le Mans and Formula One racing.
With all this power, something big needs to step in to slow the Z/27 safely, so Brembo carbon ceramic matrix ventilated two-piece front and rear rotors take duty at all four corners. Another key point about the Z/28 is, the trim level is 300 pounds lighter than the ZL1 - the supercharged upline model in the Camaro lineup.
All of this adds up to a car that can claw at the corners with 1.19 g of lateral acceleration, and lap times that would embarrass many exotics. This is not a car you’ll likely see many of roaming around due to its low production numbers, but its one that needs to be driven!
