And yes, that’s the factory paint job with a nice patina.

If you can’t stop staring at this 1970 Chevrolet C10, just imagine the looks you’ll get while cruising through your town. The body sits just above the ground, thanks to a big drop in ride height. Flashy chrome 20-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels with low-profile tires have been tucked beyond what you might have thought was possible. There’s a Pro-Touring front-end on this ride, plus an air-ride suspension that really give that aggressive stance. Just those mods alone likely cost the previous owner dearly. This half-ton truck absolute screams for attention.

While everyone will first stare for the lowered stance and tucked wheels, there’s no denying the factory Yellow-Green paint isn’t simply mesmerizing. The patina on that original coat adds a unique quality you’re just not going to get through a paint shop. Virtually everything about the body, which is straight, is original. Shiny chrome and stainless pieces have a nice glow to them. The tubbed bed avoids tire rub, and that’s a pretty expensive upgrade to put on a truck like this.

While a lot of time, effort, and money were spent on lowering this C10, the mechanicals were not ignored in the least. Under the hood sits a rebuilt 350ci LT-1 small block V8 with fuel injection. Tube headers connect to a free-flowing exhaust system. Of course, this truck comes with rear-wheel drive and a 4L60E 4-speed automatic with overdrive for a sporty flair. Power steering and four-wheel power disc brakes with Wilwood calipers have been added.

The green interior is also in nice condition, thanks to the reupholstered bench seat. Factory controls and gauges are still present, with three aftermarket gauges added under the dash. There’s an updated sound system, including two speakers in each door, so you can blast your tunes while cruising low and slow.

There are many old Chevy C10s on the market, but none look like this. You get all kinds of custom mods like the front end, suspension, and tubbed bed that cost a ton, which is a serious bonus. If you’re interested in this truck, you can get it through Autobarn Classic Cars.
