Adorned in an elegant blue-and-white color combination.

The 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air is a classic, and a luxury one at that. The full-size car was produced by Chevrolet between 1950 and 1981. Initially, only the two-door hardtop Chevys were designated with the Bel Air moniker, while Fleetline and Styleline were used for the rest of the lineup. The 1953 model year changed all that, as the Bel Air name was changed from a mere body designation to a premium level of trim applied across the range. The beautiful 1959 Bel Air example you see here is currently up for sale through Vintage Car Collector and will be the perfect addition to your classic car collection.

Looks aren’t everything, but this Bel Air certainly boasts a stunning appearance. Just look at that immaculate powder blue and white, two-tone exterior. The actual color is Frost Blue and it goes perfectly with the contrasting white on the roof and sculpted trunk. Even the interior is sporting the elegant color pairing and is in excellent condition as well. All in all, this car is breathtakingly beautiful from every angle and in any lighting. It was well preserved and taken care of; the odometer reads just 54 miles. Apart from its devilishly good looks, this rear-wheel-drive 1959 Chevy Bel Air’s got a powerful V8 engine mated to a smooth automatic transmission.

This is the first of the fourth-generation Bel Airs. Whether you look at it from the front or the rear, the 1959 Chevrolets resembled nothing else on the roads. This model year boasted brand-new sheet metal, a new frame, and new series names. The most visual change was the flat, wing-shaped tailfins that are iconic to the time period. The car was also 211 inches (5,400 mm) long sitting on a 119-inch (3,000 mm) wheelbase; that’s 11 inches (280 mm) longer than the 1957 model.

These figures made the 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air the longest car in the low-priced segment, whereas just two years ago it found itself among the shortest. Widthwise, the car was 3 inches (76 mm) wider on the outside and had 5 more inches (130 mm) on the inside, thanks to a reduction in the door thickness. Speaking of doors, every inch of this beauty stays true to its gorgeous color pairing; those immaculate door panels look plush in the frosty blue and white arrangement.
