It was selectively treated to frame-on restoration and not a frame-off one, simply because it didn't need to be. This truck is in excellent condition, runs well, and drives great. You are really going to enjoy it. The body is in superb condition and appears to have all of its original body panels with no evidence of rust, or patch panels or bondo anywhere on this rig.

The restoration is only around four to five years old, and the truck has not been driven much since then. That’s quite evident when you notice that the quality paint job that still looks really nice and fresh. It also looks like everything was taken apart when it was painted. If you thought the outside was impressive, wait ‘til you see the cabin. The interior is also in really great condition and boasts comfort. The seats were all redone and look excellent. A new vinyl floor, new headliner, and custom gauge pod were added. The only thing that was not finished was the radio and speakers.

Mechanically speaking, this 1982 GMC Jimmy Sierra Classic in excellent operating condition. It fires right up, runs healthily, and drives great. When it was restored, a newer Vortec Chevy 350 V8 was installed, which delivers some great power. Other features that were added include an aluminum intake, Edelbrock carb, HEI ignition, Stainless headers, Serpentine belt, and dual Flowmaster exhaust. The V8 motor is mated to a rebuilt Turbo 400 automatic that shifts smoothly and without issue. The transfer case is the NP208 that was also rebuilt. What’s more, the brake system also includes all-new brake lines. 

This GMC Jimmy rides on a 6-inch Rough Country lift kit and sits on newer 35-inch tires on aluminum rims. It’s sure to catch eyes as it drives by and maybe even strike up some gas station conversations. It’s also a really fun truck to drive.
