A stunning and powerful modern classic from the inside out.

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1987 Buick Grand National for consideration as an addition to your garage. The Grand National is renowned for bringing performance back to the American car scene in what is otherwise known for being a fairly lackluster era in automotive history. The vehicle you see here has just 71,893 miles clocked on the odometer since new. The current asking price is set at $26,900, and you can make an offer on the car here.

It’s not hard to see how the Grand National was THE performance car of its era. 1987 was the last year for the Grand National. As the last mid-sized, rear-wheel-drive sports coupe, demand for the vehicle surged. The 1987 Grand National was the fastest year with 245 horsepower, 0-60 mph in 6.1 seconds, and a 13.85 quarter-mile at 99.2mph. In total, 20,193 Grand Nationals were built, with 10,000 being ordered in the last six months. For this reason, it will always remain popular among auto enthusiasts and car collectors alike. The example here boasts incredible driver quality and is ready for a new owner to enjoy.

The 1987 Buick Grand National is powered by its original 3.8-liter turbocharged V6 engine. Such allowed the car to achieve the power of a big V8 engine within the restrictive emission guidelines set forth by the U.S. government in the 1970s. All of the power (245 horsepower to be exact) is sent to the rear wheels through an automatic transmission that shifts smoothly and is strong in all of its gears. Other highlights include power steering, power brakes, and power windows. It rides on Grand National wheels and is bound to turn heads and strike up gas station conversations.
