Check Out The 1,100-Horsepower MAHLE Dodge Challenger

Two legends, MAHLE and Petty’s Garage recently teamed up to create a 1,100-horsepower supercharged Dodge Challenger, which you can see for yourself in the video below. This boosted American muscle car is the grand prize for the 2019 MAHLE “Drive with the Original” Technician Promotion. Yes, one lucky technician will win this amazing vehicle during the 2019 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) being held in Las Vegas November 5-7.  

As can always be expected from Petty’s Garage, this build has been artfully done. It includes a built 426ci V8, which comes with MAHLE gaskets, pistons, filters, and other components. Bolted up to it are Kooks long-tube headers, with a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust system customized by Petty’s Garage for the build. The supercharger was provided by ProCharger.

Other mods include lowering the car by about one inch, installing Forgeline custom 3-piece wheels with Continental Extremecontact Sport tires, signature Petty’s Garage race-inspired rear spoiler, stripes down the sides, custom leather seats with Petty’s Garage and MAHLE logos embroidered into them, and more.

Back on March 1, 2019 the “Drive with the Original” promotion began. It ends on October 1, 2019. Out of entrants, four finalists will be randomly selected for a trip for two to AAPEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. That means there’s barely time left for anyone interested to enter.

Those four finalists will each select a key fob from Richard Petty himself, who will place them all in his signature Charlie One Horse hat. One of those will start the MAHLE Dodge Challenger from Petty’s Garage, signifying that person is the winner.

Even if you’re not selected for the trip to Las Vegas, there are hundreds of other prizes, which are awarded instantly. Among them are autographed Richard Petty signature Charlie One Horse cowboy hats, Richard Petty Driving Experiences, and autographed #43 diecast model cars.
